Discord added various new profile connections that you can connect to your account profile. Soon, your Discord profile will be able to show more information about your account, and on top of that more social profile might also be coming soon.
Your Discord Profile Connections are about to get a lot more useful information like
- Number of Followers
- Date Of Account Creation
- Who Follows You
- Amount of Videos Uploaded or Tweets Made or Total Reddit Karma
- And many more
Discord has started a beta test of another new feature in their Profile upgrade plan. If you link certain accounts to your profile, the little connection card will now show relevant information about those accounts.
From looking around the Internet, it seems like Reddit, Steam, and Twitter are the most likely account links where this new update will work.

New Upcoming Connection Apps
Discord added new social media recently to its list of things you can link to your profile. Some of them are Instagram, TikTok, PayPal, PlayStation Network, and Epic Games.
Discord also shared links to League of Legends and Riot accounts. From what I’ve learned, this is the first time that Discord has linked to a game on the platform. All of these new features for Connections are still in beta, which means that not everyone can use them yet.

PayPal is already added to Discord as per rumors, it is currently still at beta status. Although, most users feel that PayPal connection is useless, their was no need to add such a feature, as it is unconventional
Instagram is the most requested popular profile connection, which various Discord users are asking for. Although, Facebook API works differently compared to Instagram API. Finally, after years, there are rumours that Instagram connection & statistics details might be coming soon.

Not sure why? like seriously why? Rumors suggest eBay might also be coming to Discord connection. Another unconventional, useless social profile just like PayPal.
